Whiteboard offers instant messaging between users and groups of users.
Starting a Chat
To start a new conversation simply find the person you wish to speak with by clicking search or finding them on the list and click on them.
This will open the conversation.
Starting a Group Chat
To start a group conversation click the "+" icon in the Messaging Sidebar, select the members you'd like to join the group, give the group a name to help you find it and click create.
The Messaging Bar
The messaging bar sits at the right-hand side of the screen and is designed to allow access to those most commonly used features quickly.
Below on the left you can see the bar when it is in its closed state. Clicking the < button will open the Messaging bar into its open position.
Closed Open
The Search Icon will open the search box and allow you to quickly search your list of conversations and contacts.
The Cog Icon opens the Messaging settings Menu
Message Settings
The "Send on Enter" option allows you to select whether you the text you enter into the conversation window will be sent when you press enter.
Search opens the search conversations bar, the same as the search icon in the open and closed messaging sidebar.
New Conversation opens the new conversation messaging bar, the same as the + Icon in the open and closed messaging sidebar.
Sign out of Whiteboard allows you to sign out of Whiteboard.
