To send a letter or referral using Whiteboard.
Firstly sending letters is a different process to creating a share. Sending a letter is sending one piece of data, in this case a letter, from one user to another user.
This process replicates existing sharing methods, in that it is one way and once sent the letter belongs to both the sender and the receiver on Whiteboard.
1. Upload the Document that you wish to send.
2. View the document in "Documents and Notes"
3. Click on the referrals Tab on the Right hand side.

If you're sending the referral to someone who is already using Whiteboard click "Send Referral to existing Whiteboard User"
1. Select the user from the list, you can type part of the users name into the filter box to search for the particular user.
2. Click the "Send Referral" Button.
If you're sending the referral to someone who isn't using Whiteboard click "Send Referral to New User"
1. Enter the details of the person you wish to send the referral too.
2. Click Send Referral.
3. Whiteboard will generate an email to the email address specified alerting the user to your referral and inviting them to sign up and use Whiteboard.
Viewing Sent Letters
Regardless of to whom you sent the referral when a referral has been sent it will appear below the buttons in the Previous Referrals Table.
To View all letters sent and received click on the Letters Button in the top bar.
